
A native of Chicago, IL Andrea Tucci (she/her) obtained her master of science in library and information science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in December 2021. She previously earned a master's degree in vocal pedagogy at Northeastern Illinois University in May 2020 and a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance at Illinois Wesleyan University in 2015. Ms. Tucci has been a librarian since January 2022 and serving as a a university performing arts librarian since 2023. She also has enjoyed teaching private voice lessons since 2016, where she has worked with styles ranging from singer-songwriters to musical theatre to classical art song and opera. Her research interests lie in incorporating more tools, accessibility, and diversity into performing arts libraries and curriculums.
