About
Background
A native of Chicago, IL Andrea obtained her master's degree in vocal pedagogy at Northeastern Illinois University in May 2020. She received her bachelor’s degree in vocal performance at Illinois Wesleyan University in 2015. Ms. Tucci has performed in both opera and musical theatre. Recent highlights include an all-female Cabaret and La Badessa in Suor Angelica. She is a member of the Chicago Chapter of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing.) She has been teaching voice since 2016 and piano since 2018. She has taught music to all ages, from 6 months to 72 years old. Her research interests lie in female composers, the American undergraduate voice curriculum, and special collections and archival tools for musicians.
